Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort is awarded 2011 Indonesia's Leading Golf Resort from the prestigious World Travel Awards. This recognition has proven that Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort is the best golf resort in Indonesia and it has been recognized internationally.
The award was presented during a VIP gala ceremony hosted by World Travel Awards (WTA) in Bangkok, Thailand on 28 September 2011.
Other Indonesian winners include The St. Regis Bali Resort, who picked up two awards for Asia's Leading Luxury Resort and Indonesia's Leading Hotel, AYANA Resort and Spa Bali, who also picked up two awards Indonesia's Leading Resort as well as Indonesia's Leading Spa Resort, and Hotel Sedona Manado who picked up the award for Indonesia's Leading Business Hotel.

UNICEF Challenge Golf Tournament
The St. Regis Bali Resort and The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali have partnered with Bali Golf & Country Club to present this first ever, first class charity golf event on the island which will take place on 29 October 2011, commencing at 06.30am.
This is to raise additional funds to support Check Out For Children™. An alliance between Starwood Hotels & Resorts and UNICEF, the initiative raises monies through an additional US$1 (or its equivalent in another currency) which is included in the room bill of each guest and this has helped immunize over one million children in underdeveloped countries since 1995.
Golfers will begin the day early and be treated to a delightful breakfast with Champagne at Arwana of The Laguna Nusa Dua, after which they will be transferred to the green fairways to take their first shot gun swing at 07.30am. Refreshing cocktails and canapes will be served on the course to enhance this lifestyle play and the event will end on a high note with a sumptuous buffet lunch at Boneka Restaurant of the St Regis Bali, complemented with wines and beers, during which, tournament winners will be announced.
Winners will be rewarded with great prizes including return flight tickets to Singapore and Hong Kong and accommodation at a 5-star hotel for 2 persons. For the Grand Prize, the winner will be treated to an exceptional and luxurious two night stay at the residential style beachfront Strand Villa at the St Regis Bali.
