After leading the board after the first day, the Indonesian men's team of Rinaldi Adiyandono (70 73), Ian Andrew (71 74), George Gandranata (69 71) and Suprapto (72 71) dropped to a preliminary second place with a team score of 425 after the second round of the Putra Cup at Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club in Hong Kong, SAR. A stellar performance of Shun Yat Hak, who shot 65 on the second day, propelled the Hong Kong team into the lead with a one shot lead total of 424. Third place for the moment goes to Malaysia, who were at 4th after the first round, but managed to overtake Singapore with a team score of 427.
In the Santi Cup the Indonesian ladies team was less fortunate, where after 2 rounds they are in 6th and last place with a team score of 457. The lead here is for the team from the Philippines with a total of 416, followed by Thailand (418) and Hong Kong (430) in third place.
The midway lead in the Lion City Cup is for Thailand with 505, followed by Malaysia with 517 and joint third place for Singapore and Indonesia junior team with 518.
