Bali Handara Temporarily Closed Because Of Landslide

As a result of extremely heavy rains for several days last week, the island of Bali was hit by a number of landslides that caused a lot of damage at various locations.

One of the areas hit by a landslide was the Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club, where the Bali Handara Hotel was badly damaged and part of the 18th fairway disappeared under a thick layer of mud, stones and fallen trees. Fortunately there was no one killed or injured by the landslide at Handara, but it will take some time to clean up and have the course back ready for play. Therefore the Bali Handara course will be temporarily closed until April 1, when play is expected to be possible again.

After reopening the par 5 18th hole will be temporarily played as a par 3, until this hole can be fully restored to normal playing conditions.
